Hyderabad: The Attapur police arrested two persons who had allegedly entered a house at Chintalmet and committed theft of gold and silver ornaments on Friday.

The arrested persons are Mohammed Junaid (21) and Syed Nayab (19), both residents of Rajendranagar.

According to the police, on Friday, when the owner of the house went out on some work, Junaid and Nayab entered the house and, after breaking the lock of the cupboard, collected gold and silver articles.

The house owner, after returning home, noticed the lock of the cupboard broken and property missing. On a complaint, the Attapur police registered a case and took Junaid and Nayab into custody on suspicion. Both of them confessed to stealing the articles. The police arrested and remanded them.
