Attention Hyderabad: No water supply in parts of city on Aug 6
HMWSSB has announced a temporary disruption in drinking water supply on Wednesday, August 6, due to critical junction works on two main pipelines from Lingampally to the Sanathnagar reservoir. The maintenance activity, scheduled from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., will affect water supply in several localities
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB ) has announced there would be no drinking water supply in parts of the city for several hours on Wednesday, August 6.
The drinking water supply will be disrupted due to junction works proposed at two main lines that supply water from Lingampallyto Sanathnagar reservoir.
The water board, in a press release on Tuesday, informed the consumers that works would be carried out on Wednesday from 6 am to 10 pm as a result of which there would be interruption in drinking water supply in several areas and in some places, water would be supplied at low pressure.
The other areas where water supply will be affected include DNM Colony, Ashok Colony, Alauddin Koti, BJR Nagar, Renuka Nagar, Suprabhat Nagar, Neemkar Nagar.
