Attention Hyderabad: No water supply in parts of city on Aug 6

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB ) has announced there would be no drinking water supply in parts of the city for several hours on Wednesday, August 6.
The drinking water supply will be disrupted due to junction works proposed at two main lines that supply water from Lingampally to Sanathnagar reservoir.
The water board, in a press release on Tuesday, informed the consumers that works would be carried out on Wednesday from 6 am to 10 pm as a result of which there would be interruption in drinking water supply in several areas and in some places, water would be supplied at low pressure.
The areas affected include Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, NTR Nagar, Srisri Nagar, Prashanth Nagar, Deendayal Nagar, Jinkalawada, Prabhakar Reddy Nagar, Samathanagar, Venkateshwara Nagar, Karmik Nagar, Shiva Shankar Nagar, LBS Nagar, Fateh Nagar, Charabanda Raju Colony, Balanagar, Janata Nagar, Chaitanya Basti, Waddar Basti, Erukal Basti, Shastri Marg, Zilla Basti, Sriram Colony, Kaithlapur, Raghavendra Colony, Hanuman Chowk, Yadav Basti, HP Road, Bhavani Nagar, Sardar Patel Nagar, Goods Shed Road, JP Nagar, EWS, MIGH, HIG, LIG, Sathya Sai Nagar.
The other areas where water supply will be affected include DNM Colony, Ashok Colony, Alauddin Koti, BJR Nagar, Renuka Nagar, Suprabhat Nagar, Neemkar Nagar.
