Aurobindo Pharma subsidiary launches ADQUEY in US
Acrotech Biopharma, a subsidiary of Hyderabad-based Aurobindo Pharma, has launched ADQUEY ointment in the US for mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis. The non-steroidal topical PDE4 inhibitor is indicated for adults and children aged two years and above.

Hyderabad: Acrotech Biopharma Inc., a subsidiary of Hyderabad-based Aurobindo Pharma Limited, has launched ADQUEY ointment in the United States, marking the company’s official entry into the American dermatology market.
ADQUEY is a non-steroidal, topical phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor indicated for the treatment of mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis in adults and pediatric patients aged 2 years and older. Originally discovered and developed by Otsuka Pharmaceutical, the product is licensed to Acrotech for US commercialisation, a press release said.
Ashish Anvekar, president of Acrotech Biopharma, said, “We are establishing a dedicated dermatology platform designed to support ADQUEY today while creating the capabilities to pursue additional opportunities.”
