Hyderabad: The cricket fraternity and fans across the world were in for a grand treat after a rather weak (on papers) Indian team breached the Australian fortress at Gabba in Brisbane, where the Australian cricket team stood undefeated for 32 long years until today.
After suffering multiple blows in the form of injuries, racial abuses from spectators, the Indian cricket team won the final test in a fine fashion shutting up all their critics who said India stood no chance against the Aussies in the final test.
The team not only won the match but also the hearts of millions of spectators. One such spectator, who was mighty impressed was an Australian supporter in the stands on the final day of the match, who was raising slogans “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” after the team’s victory. The viral video of the fan comes as a breath of fresh air, even as the memories of racial abuse haunt some of the cricketers.
