Auto driver, wife killed in Sangareddy road accident

A couple from Badampet, Sangareddy district, died instantly when a speeding lorry rammed their auto on NH-65 at Sajapur. They were on personal work when the accident occurred.

Sangareddy: In a tragic accident, an auto-rickshaw driver and his wife died in a road accident when a speeding DCM lorry hit their auto on NH-65 at Sajjapur on Thursday.

The deceased persons were identified as Padmamma (38) and Rachaiah (44) of Badampet. Rachaiah was eking out a livelihood by running the passenger auto. However, the couple was going on some personal work in the same auto which met with an accident on Thursday. Death was instant for them as they sustained serious injuries.

The bodies were taken to the government hospital in Zaheerabad for postmortem. The couple is survived by two children.
