Hyderabad: The Shahinyathgunj police arrested two persons allegedly involved in theft of two-wheelers from public places and recovered 19 vehicles.

The arrested persons were Abdul Waheed Khan (63) of Jahanuma and Mohd Shoeb ul Haq alias Shoeb (28) of Mahmoodguda in Warsiguda.

According to the police, the two made away with vehicles parked at various public places and later sold them at throwaway prices. “Following a case of a motorcycle theft, the police analyzed footage from about 100 cameras and tracked them down,” DCP (West) Joel Davis said.

The two were produced before court and remanded.
