Avoid delay in execution of development works, Jagadish Reddy tells officials
Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy was laying foundation stone for development works in Huzurnagar of Suryapet district on Saturday.

Suryapet: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Saturday instructed the officials to avoid any delay in execution of development works, which have been taken up by the State government to provide required facilities to the people in all areas.

Laying foundation stone for several development works including mini tank bund at Huzurnagar, which have been taken up with Rs 20 crore, Jagadish Reddy said that the State government has been implementing welfare schemes and development programmes irrespective of politics. It has resulted in equal development of all areas in the State.


Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has a strong belief on the concept of development of villages would automatically led to development of the country. The initiatives of the State government have led to the development of the villages in addition to strengthening of rural economy. Telangana State stood as a model in the country in rural development, he added.

Stating that all the district in the State were witnessing rapid development, he said that the Chief Minister was striving for comprehensive development of Telangana state, which was achieved through prolonged agitation.

He opined that the works, which have taken to provide facilities to the people and solve the issues in any area, should be completed at the earliest. The officials should take initiative for speedy completion of the works. He instructed the officials to complete the laying of internal road in three areas of Huzurnagar within three months. He assured to take the issues prevailed in Huzurnagar to the notice of Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K Taraka Rama Rao and work to solve them.

Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaiah Yadav, Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Huzurnagar MLA S Saidi Reddy were also present.
