Awareness programmes held to mark 8th national naturopathy day in Mancherial

Mancherial observed the eighth National Naturopathy Day with awareness camps organised by doctor couple KN Sukumar and P Sameera Reddy. They stressed that drugless naturopathy treatment helps prevent lifestyle diseases and builds a healthy society through natural methods.

Mancherial: The eighth National Naturopathy Day was observed in different parts of the district on Tuesday. Awareness programmes were organised to mark the occasion.

Prominent naturopathy doctor couple KN Sukumar and P Sameera Reddy organised an awareness camp for the benefit of students at ITI-Mancherial town. They conducted a similar event at Mythri Yoga and Nature Cure Centre at Hi-Tech City Colony. Fitness enthusiasts and yoga practitioners attended the programme.

During the programmes, Sukumar and Sameera explained the benefits of naturopathy. They said the drugless system of medicine helps people stay healthy and a healthy society forms the foundation of a healthy country. They added that ancient naturopathy roots out many lifestyle diseases, while modern systems of medicine only aim at reducing illness.
