Hyderabad: Awfis Space Solutions is expanding its footprint in Hyderabad and adding premium workspaces under the newly launched ‘Awfis Gold’ centre offering. The company which has recently launched one such centre at Rajapushpa Summit in the Financial District of Hyderabad is gearing up to open another centre in Begumpet soon.
Awfis Gold is the company’s premium workspace offering, in line with the evolving workspace requirements of large-scale enterprises and their employees, in the new normal. With this new offering, the brand will offer workspaces with best-in class amenities and infrastructure at Grade-A locations.
Pan-India, Awfis aims to launch nine Gold centres (including two in Hyderabad) spread across over 2 lakh sq ft with over 5,000 seats in the next four months. These centres will be available in Grade-A properties of metro markets such as Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata. The company already has one Gold centre operational at Prestige Shantiniketan– I at Bengaluru.
Amit Ramani, founder & CEO, Awfis told Telangana Today, “We have begun our operations at Rajapushpa Summit in the Financial District of Hyderabad, last month. This is spread over 30,000 sq ft carpet area (and 45,000 sq ft rentable area). This centre has a 900-seat capacity. Half of the space was sold before the centre went live, which shows high demand for premium quality workspaces. We are now developing our second Gold centre at Prestige Phoenix at Begumpet, which will go live by the end of this month. We will have 25,000 sq ft carpet area (and 35,000 sq ft rentable area), with about 800-seat capacity. This will be created on three floors.”
When asked about the investments, he said, the premium workspaces will attract 25-30 per cent higher investments than the typical office centres. The new format will be focused on metro cities in the next 12-15 months, and Awfis may later explore options in tier 2 cities.
Demand patterns
He added, “The changing times have ensured that companies across sectors realise the importance of well-managed integrated workspaces that provide Grade-A infrastructure, best in-class facilities and accessibility. Given the rising demand of co-working spaces, Awfis Gold will emerge as the premium partner of choice for enterprises and CXOs who are now looking towards a hybrid model of working for their teams. Certain portions of customers today prefer a premium product for their headquarters or for their customer facing functions.”
On the design aspect of the Gold centres, he said, “The design ethos of each of our centres is urbane, minimalistic and at the same time interwoven with the cultural fabric of India. The muted colours, plush furniture, contemporary fixtures and spacious interiors provide a world-class working environment that is certain to enhance productivity, safety and comfort.”
Awfis currently has 90 centres and 51,000 seats across 12 cities and is heading towards 100 centres in the coming few months. Hyderabad will continue to see fresh activity and among several micro-markets, the company is also evaluating locations around the Hyderabad airport as there is a growth potential, Ramani said.
Awfis is a fully tech-enabled workspace solutions platform that provides products across the spectrum of work requirements including flex workspaces, enterprise workspace solution, design & build solution (Awfis Transform), integrated facility management (Awfis Care), remote working solutions & work from home solution (Awfis@Home).
