Hanamkonda: A B.Sc (Nursing) student was attacked with a chemical substance at Kadipikonda of Kazipet mandal in the district on Monday.
The student, Sunanda of Jafargadh in Jangaon district, suffered minor injuries in the incident. It occurred when she had gone to college in Hanamkonda in the evening to get her hall ticket and was travelling on a two-wheeler to her grandmother’s home at Venkatapur.
Three unidentified youths wearing helmets and riding a two-wheeler attacked her with the chemical, causing injuries to her right leg and waist. She was shifted to MGM Hospital for treatment. Kazipet police booked a case and have taken up investigation into the incident.
