“Bachchhan Paandey” trailer out: Get ready to witness Akshay Kumar’s ferocious avatar

The trailer of the much-awaited action-comedy film, “Bachchhan Paandey”, starring Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon in the lead, has been released by the makers, exactly a month before the release of the film. The movie promises to be an entertainer with a mix of action, drama, comedy and romance.
The audiences are excitedly looking forward to the film revolving around a ruthless gangster, played by ‘Khiladi’ Kumar. While Kriti Sanon (Myra) is playing the role of a filmmaker, Jacqueline Fernandez, playing Sophie, is Akshay’s romantic interest. Arshad Warsi is a struggling actor.
The trailer begins with Kriti, aspiring to make a biopic on a real-life gangster named Bachchhan Paandey of Baghwa. She convinces Arshad Warsi, her friend, to help her in this endeavour. Although she is unaware of what is in store for her, Arshad Warsi warns Bachchhan Paandey is menacing and ruthless who kills people at the drop of a hat.
The trailer reveals the gangster didn’t even spare his girlfriend Sophie (Jacqueline). The deadly gangster boasts of killing 70
people in his town. When he knows Kriti’s plans behind the making of the movie, he is in no mood to spare them. As things turn dangerous for Kriti and her friend, what happens next seems to take the audiences on a roller coaster ride. At one point, Akshay leaves us in splits with his perfect comic timing, but even in humour, the actor looks menacing. We also get to know what the entire cast has in store for all of us.
Gearing up for their upcoming film, the makers unveiled a number of intriguing posters that created a big buzz and were quite a stir on the social media. In the first poster, Akshay Kumar in an unbuttoned shirt, with cool sunglasses, a red coloured cloth around his forehead, thick beard, chains around his neck, looked intense. A rifle and other weapons in his backpack completed his deadly gangster avatar.
Another poster shows Akshay sitting on a tractor wielding a pistol pointing at the sky, with several others brandishing weapons. In the recently unveiled poster, Akshay looked rugged and rough, with an eye looking blue, salt & pepper stubble and a head gear. In the new poster there is an unmissable swag of both Kriti and Akshay, with Kriti sitting behind Akshay on a bike while pointing a gun at someone. And, just before the release of this trailer, Jaqcueline’s loveable poster with a happier looking Akshay, depicting their excellent chemistry, was unveiled.
“Bachchhan Paandey” also stars Prateik Babbar, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhimanyu Singh and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. Helmed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will hit the big screens on March 18, 2022.
