Nalgonda: Nalgonda Additional Joint Collector (Revenue) V Chandrasekhar on Saturday said that the State government was committed to extending necessary help to the girls in troubled situations. Inaugurating Bala Rakshak Vehicle at his camp office in Nalgonda, Chandrasekhar said that the girls can call ChildLine No. 1098 if they face emergency conditions.
Bala Rakshak Vehicle would rush to their place and rescue them. He asked the girls aged below 18 years to utilize the services of Bala Rakshak Vehicles in emergency situations.
Rehabilitation would be provided to rescued girls, he added. He said that the vehicles would be useful in reaching children in need of protection in time. He explained the measures taken up by the State government for the safety and security of girls. District Child Welfare Committee Chairman Chintha Krishna, District Welfare Officer C Subadhra and District Child Protection Officer Ganesh also attended the programme.
