Banda Srinivas appointed as TSSCDC Chairman
He had earlier worked as TRS Huzurabad mandal president, district secretary and State joint secretary
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday appointed Banda Srinivas as the Chairman of Telangana State Scheduled Castes Development Corporation Limited for one year with immediate effect.
A government order to this effect was also issued. Srinivas hailing from Huzurabad in Karimnagar has been active in social service initiatives since his childhood. After working in Congress, Srinivas joined TRS in 2001 and actively participated in various agitations and the Statehood movement.
He worked as TRS Huzurabad mandal president, district secretary and State joint secretary. Following instructions from Chandrashekhar Rao, Srinivas was participating in party as well as developmental programmes taken up by the State government.
