Bandi makes BJP candidates take anti-defection oath

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar administered an oath to BJP candidates in Karimnagar, committing them to remain with the party after the municipal elections and work for development

Karimnagar: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Monday made BJP candidates take an oath, committing them to remain with the party and not defect to other political parties after winning the municipal elections.

Participating in the election campaign in Karimnagar town on Monday evening, the Union Minister led the contestants in taking the pledge.


As part of the oath, the candidates vowed that they would not leave the party after winning the polls and would work with commitment for the party as well as for the development of Karimnagar, the country and society.
