Bandi Sanjay calls party leader Madhukar’s suicide a ‘murder’ by Congress

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay has accused Congress leaders and police officials of driving BJP mandal president Eta Madhukar to suicide in Mancherial district. He demanded immediate suspension of the officers involved and warned Congress leaders of retaliation.

Mancherial: union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar termed the suicide of BJP Vemanapalli mandal president Eta Madhukar a murder committed by the Congress. He consoled bereaved family members of Madhukar at Kothaguda village in Vemanapalli mandal on Saturday evening.

Speaking to the media, Sanjay alleged that Madhukar was forced to commit suicide due to harassment by Congress leaders and the police. He demanded that the government suspend police officials who allegedly harassed Madhukar by booking a case against him.

He also went so far as to threaten Congress leaders that they would be punished like the way hooligans were dealt with by the BJP in Uttar Pradesh.
