Bandi Sanjay demands CVC probe into AMRUT tenders
Sanjay said if the Revanth Reddy government believes that no irregularities had taken place in the AMRUT tenders it should immediately write to the centre seeking CVC probe.
Hyderabad: union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay demanded the State government to order the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) probe into alleged corruption in Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) tenders.
Sanjay said if the Revanth Reddy government believes that no irregularities had taken place in the AMRUT tenders it should immediately write to the centre seeking CVC probe.
“I will see that the CVC probe is ordered at the earliest,”he said.
The centre introduced the AMRUT scheme with a good intention to improve the infrastructure in the cities in the country, but the Congress government was using it to earn illegal money, he said.
