Bandi Sanjay seeks Siddipet CP’s suspension, on protest for second day
BJP activists staged protest demonstrations in Manakondur, Metpalli, Karimnagar and gave a bandh call in Ghambiraopet mandal.
Karimnagar: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar continued with his protest on the second day on Tuesday at his Karimnagar office in protest against his arrest by Siddipet police.
Party workers and his followers are also staging a dharna outside the office in support of Sanjay Kumar, who is also the Karimnagar MP.
While Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind met Sanjay on Monday night, film actor and former Minister Babu Mohan extended his support on Tuesday. Senior BJP leader DK Aruna is also likely to visit Karimnagar and call on the protesting MP.
Meanwhile, BJP activists staged protest demonstrations in Manakondur, Metpalli, Karimnagar and gave a bandh call in Ghambiraopet mandal.
Sanjay Kumar asserted that he would continue with the protest till the suspension of Siddipet police commissioner Joel Devis. Urging the Election Commission to intervene in the matter, Sanjay wanted a criminal case to be registered against the Siddipet CP.
