Karimnagar: BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who has been on a protest fast since Monday night, was shifted to Apollo Reach hospital as his condition deteriorated. The deeksha in protest against his arrest by Siddipet police ended peacefully when he was shifted to the hospital.
Doctors from district headquarters hospital checked Sanjay’s medical condition and put him on saline as his sugar levels dropped. Based on the doctors’ advice, he was shifted to Apollo hospital at around 8 pm, where he is undergoing treatment.
In the afternoon, Sanjay underwent medical examination by private medical staff. BJP leaders accused the State government of not sending government doctors to check the MP’s health condition. Later in the evening, government doctors carried out medical tests on Sanjay, and shifted him to hospital.
