Hyderabad: Soon after withdrawing his nomination for MAA elections, actor-film producer Bandla Ganesh gave a reason saying that he would commit a big mistake if he failed to keep up his poll promises.
The actor said, “Two big celebrities are competing in the MAA elections. If I failed to fulfill the promises I made during the elections, it would be a big mistake. I have immense respect towards actor Prakash Raj.”
He assured support to the elected MAA representative in fulfilling the promises.
Ganesh further said that he was deeply hurt by Vishnu Manchu’s recent remarks on taking sides with Power Star.
“Pawan Kalyan is a charioteer of Telugu film industry. Coming from a humble background, he gave many blockbuster hits. He became a star. He is just a call away when anyone faces trouble in the industry. He introduced many talented technicians and artistes to the Telugu cinema. Pawan Kalyan had just appealed to the government to take on him but not trouble the ailing industry. None has the right to say that he doesn’t belong to the industry,” Ganesh said.
Bandla Ganesh further added that he would still abide by his word on the promise that he gave recently to provide double-bedroom houses to 100 poor movie artistes.
“I would pursue it with Prakash Raj soon after his panel emerged victorious on October 10,” he said.
Later, he found fault with actor Posani Krishna Murali for hurling abuses against the Power Star and his family members.
