Bandlaguda cops trace missing girl in two hours

Acting swiftly on a missing child complaint, Bandlaguda Police traced a four-year-old girl within two hours in Ghouse Nagar, Hyderabad. The child’s mother reported her missing around 2 pm, prompting immediate police action.

Hyderabad: Acting promptly on a missing child complaint, Bandlaguda Police traced a four-year-old girl and reunited her with her parents within two hours on Wednesday.

Police said the cold had gone missing from Ghouse Nagar, following which her mother approached the police station around 2 pm.


A immediately swung into action, scanning CCTV footage and making enquiries in the surrounding areas.

Based on clues gathered during the search, the girl was located in a nearby residential colony around 3.20 pm and safely handed over to her family.

Officials said the parents were counselled on child safety and supervision.
