Bangladeshi woman alleges sexual assault by husband, three others in Kanchanbagh

An 18-year-old Bangladeshi woman has accused her husband and three of his friends of sexually assaulting and torturing her in Hyderabad's Kanchanbagh area. The victim alleged that she was confined in a house and subjected to abuse by the accused.

Hyderabad: A woman from Bangladesh has allegedly been sexually assaulted by her husband and three of his friends in Kanchanbagh.

According to police, the 18-year-old woman was married to Mohd Fayaz, a resident of Kashmir, after which the couple moved to Hyderabad. The woman alleged that her husband, who was addicted to alcohol, along with his friends identified as Mujeeb, Kamal and Rehman, confined her inside a house and subjected her to physical torture and sexual assault.

Based on the victim’s complaint, Kanchanbagh police registered a case against her husband and the three others. Further investigation is on.
