Hyderabad: The winners of the first day of ‘Bathukamma Perchandi-Bangaram Gelchkondi’ contest being organised by Valayam TV were presented with pattu sarees on Thursday.

Sandhya Yamusani of Miyapur, Padmaja Reddy of Himayathnagar, Jayasri Devanuri of Karimnagar district were declared the winners. The channel management urged the women to participate in the competition in large numbers during these nine days in which three pattu sarees will be presented every day to the selected winners.

Those interested in partcipating can visit Valayam TV channel on YouTube. Apart from daily awards, on the day of Saddula Bathukamma, participants stand a chance to win gold and silver as prizes, a press release said.
