BCCI grants permission for TG20 League

The TG20 is envisioned as a landmark cricketing initiative aimed at promoting and nurturing emerging cricket talent across Telangana while creating a professional and competitive platform for players from the state.

Hyderabad:  The Hyderabad Cricket Association announced that the Board of Control for Cricket in India has officially granted approval for the conduct of TG20, Hyderabad Cricket Association’s premier T20 league, commencing from this year.

The TG20 is envisioned as a landmark cricketing initiative aimed at promoting and nurturing emerging cricket talent across Telangana while creating a professional and competitive platform for players from the state. The league is expected to play a significant role in strengthening grassroots cricket and expanding opportunities for young cricketers.

The Apex Council of the Hyderabad Cricket Association and the TG20 Governing Council expressed their sincere gratitude to the BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia, along with the entire BCCI Apex Council, for their support and approval for the league.

HCA Secretary M. Jeevan Reddy stated that TG20 would be conducted with high standards of professionalism, transparency, and sporting excellence, and called upon all stakeholders to work together in making the league a proud and successful sporting platform for both HCA and the State of Telangana.
