BDL hosts two-day vigilance administration workshop for Defence PSUs in Hyderabad
Bharat Dynamics Limited is hosting a two-day vigilance administration workshop in Hyderabad as part of the Preventive Vigilance Campaign 2026. Officials from 16 Defence PSUs are participating in sessions on ethics, fraud prevention, investigation, technology-enabled risk identification and best practices.

Hyderabad: Bringing together Chief Vigilance Officers and functionaries from all Defence Public Sector Undertakings for the first time on a common platform to share experience, examine common challenges and build a stronger professional vigilance network, the Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) is hosting a two-day workshop on ‘Vigilance Administration in Defence PSUs’ in Hyderabad.
Being organised as part of the Preventive Vigilance Campaign 2026, the workshop aims to move vigilance from isolated function to collective capability – strengthening preventive vigilance, peer learning, technology-enabled risk identification and a culture of integrity across India’s defence public-sector ecosystem.
The two-day workshop was inaugurated by DV Srinivas Rao, Director (Technical), BDL in the presence of Commodore Sujay Kapoor (Retd), Director (Production), BDL, Spurthi Reddy, Chief Vigilance Officer, BDL and senior officials from all the sixteen Defence PSUs.
The workshop features sessions on ‘Building Ethical Institutions: The Tata Experience’ by Chief Ethics Counsellor, Tata Steel, ‘Fraud Prevention, Detection & Investigation in Corporate Sector’ by KPMG, sharing of best practices and challenges faced by Vigilance Units of all DPSUs.
