Hyderabad: On a mission to come back strong in 2021, the Italian superbike manufacturer Benelli and Adishwar Auto Ride India – Mahavir Group is all set to introduce a range of BS6 Benelli superbikes in the Indian market.
The BS6 Leoncino 500 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 4,59,900 (ex-showroom) for the Steel Grey and Rs 4,69,900 (ex-showroom) for the Leoncino Red. With its classic street scrambler looks, the Leoncino recalls the easy-to-ride “Lion Cub” models of the ’60s with a modern approach.
Vikas Jhabakh, managing director, Benelli India, said, “The Leoncino 500 has been very special to us at Benelli as it combines tradition and passion with contemporary design, innovation and performance. It is a tribute to the original model, which is a legend of Italian motorcycling that largely contributed to the history of the brand.”
Benelli Leoncino represents an authentic and pure-hearted design concept that rediscovers the style and the accessibility of the original, all while delivering a contemporary motorcycle that provides a sporty and exciting experience. The street version of the Leoncino is elegant, fast and compact, it has 17” alloy wheels. The tubeless tyres include a 120/70-ZR17 section tyre at the front and 160/60-ZR17 section tyre at the rear, guaranteeing stability and performance in every condition, a press release said.
