Benelli India Initiates ‘National Safety’ Awareness Campaign ‘Safe Roaring’
Starting from the company’s manufacturing plant based out of Hyderabad, the campaign ‘Safe Roaring’ was inaugurated by Petbasheerabad police inspector, S. Ramesh, by planting a tree at Benelli’s manufacturing plant.
Hyderabad: Benelli, a leading worldwide manufacturer of premium bikes, and Adishwar Auto Ride India – Mahavir Group, began their national safety awareness to promote the importance of safe driving habits through a range of activities.
Starting from the company’s manufacturing plant based out of Hyderabad, the campaign ‘Safe Roaring’ was inaugurated by Petbasheerabad police inspector, S. Ramesh, by planting a tree at Benelli’s manufacturing plant. As a part of Benelli India’s ongoing green initiative, 150 more trees were planted by the company staff, a press release said.
Ramesh requested everyone to continue to abide by the rules and regulations set by the government towards road safety as these were formed to ensure that every journey is a safe and memorable one.
During the CSR activity, the company handed over helmets to its employees and also the general public apart from offering training on safe riding habits and educating on the use of safety gears like helmet, gloves, riding jacket, riding pants and shoes, while riding a two wheeler. Car drivers were also educated on the importance of using seat belts, night driving with low beam, following traffic rules, etc.
Vikas Jhabakh, Managing Director, Benelli India said, “While we do offer high powered and exciting products, we equally emphasise on the importance of safety and promote the same during every test ride and at the time of every product delivery as well.”
