Bengaluru: Four random stabbing incidents lead to scare in Indiranagar, assailant identified

Four instances of random stabbing by strangers by an unidentified person led to a scare in Indiranagar locality of Bengaluru city

Hyderabad: Indiranagar locality in Bengaluru city seems to have been gripped by a scare after four persons were attacked by a person for no apparent reason on Saturday night for no apparent reason. The victims are undergoing treatment and are reported to be out of danger.
The assailant was in his mid-20s and wearing a red T shirt, white pants and a black cap. The modus operandi employed was that the assailant slashed the victims on their necks. The apparent conclusion was that the attacks were meant to kill.
The assailant reported stopped his two victims and engaged them in some conversation, before whipping out a knife and attacking them while they are in a vulnerable position. He was reported to have run away immediately. The victims were reported to be blue collar workers.
“The criminal seems to be familiar with the Indiranagar area and particularly with the 100 Feet road and its surrounding by lanes” a viral Reddit post said.
Sources say police have identified the assailant and made some progress in locating him also. IN all probability he is likely to be apprehended shortly.
