Bengaluru man gets lifer in 2017 Attapur murder case
A Rajendranagar court has sentenced Bengaluru-based leather businessman to life imprisonment for murdering his associate in Attapur in 2017.
Hyderabad: A local court in Rajendranagar on Friday sentenced a Bengaluru-based leather businessman to life imprisonment for the murder case of his business associate reported at Attapur in 2017.
The convict Nisar Ahmed was also directed to pay a fine of Rs 15,000.
Nisar Ahmed and the victim, Neesar Ahmed, had rented a flat at Sajid Residency in Santosh Nagar Colony in April 2017. A few days later, the apartment watchman noticed a foul smell from the locked flat. When it was opened, the victim’s decomposed body was found in the bathroom with head injuries and a rope tied around his neck.
Police investigation revealed that Nisar Ahmed had allegedly murdered his business associate over a dispute and fled after locking the flat. He was later arrested.
