Bhadradri temple expands online services to include three more sevas

Kothagudem: Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Devasthanam at Bhadrachalam in the district has extended its online services to three more sevas being offered at the temple for the benefit of devotees.
It might be noted that around 24 permanent and special puja sevas have been made available online in July, 2023. The devotees could book tickets for puja services at Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple, Sri Govindaraja Temple, Parnasala Temple, Sri Yogananda Lakshmi Narasimha Temple and Sri Annapurna Sahitha Kasi Visweswara Temple affiliated to the devasthanam.
An e-Hundi was also made available on the website for the devotees to make donations. Air conditioned cottages, air conditioned and non-air conditioned rooms in Sri Ramanilayam, Soumitri, Sri Ramasadanam have been made available to the devotees to book online.
Recently the temple included ‘Annadanam’, protocol darshanam and ‘Vastra samarpana’ among its online services. Thus all the services at the devasthanam have been digitalised, informed the temple executive officer L Rama Devi.
In the past printed tickets for ‘Annadanam’ used to be distributed to the devotees from 10.30 am to 11.30 am at the temple. This often led to inconvenience to the devotees. Now from 9.30 am to 1 pm the devotees are photographed and given tokens.
For protocol darshanam tokens are being given to the devotees after register their details online in the office. Similarly, for presenting clothes to the presiding deities at the temple, the clothes are being digitalised through barcoding to track and manage them properly.
The digitalisation of the temple services would help to avoid any malpractices as well as helps the devotees make use of them with ease, the executive officer said. She further informed that developmental works worth Rs 1.30 crore have been taken up for Vaikunta Ekadasi celebrations that would be organised at the temple from this December 31 to January 20, 2025.
