Hyderabad: Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS), one of India’s largest and most reputed football development programmes, will conduct scouting trials in Hyderabad on December 14 at the League Facility (Financial District) from 10 am to identify talented young student-athletes for the BBFS Residential Academy, the organisation’s flagship high-performance football training and academic curriculum in association with reputed boarding schools across India.

Footballers born between 2010 and 2016 are eligible to participate.

Participants attending the trials must carry a valid government identity card for verification. They are required to report in full football attire, including jerseys, shorts, football boots and shin guards, which are mandatory for participation. Athletes should also bring a personal hydration pack or water bottle, as the trial session will include high-intensity activities. Registrations can be completed online through the Enjogo app, BBFS’s official sports learning and participation platform.

Bhaichung Bhutia, Co-founder of BBFS and one of India’s most celebrated football icons, said in a statement, “These trials are a tremendous opportunity for young players who dream of pursuing professional football without compromising on their academic journey.”

“We aim to identify committed student-athletes and provide them with the environment, coaching and culture they need to learn, train and excel. The BBFS Residential Academy gives talented youngsters a chance to grow holistically and prepare for higher levels of the sport,” he said.

The BBFS Residential Academy offers an integrated football-and-academics model designed to support long-term player development. Created to mirror the standards of top global academies, the programme combines elite football training with formal schooling, supervised by experienced educators and coordinators.
