Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanthi Celebrations On March 1 at LB Indoor Stadium

Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanthi Mahotsav will be held at Basheerbagh LB Indoor Stadium on March 1. Around 1100 musicians and 1200 dancers from across Telangana will participate in the day-long cultural event organised by Telangana Sangeeta Nataka Akademi

Hyderabad: Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanthi Mahotsav will be organised at Basheerbagh LB Indoor Stadium on March 1.

Telangana Sangeeta Nataka Akademi chairperson Prof Dr Alekhya Punjala, in a press release, said music and dance programmes will be held on the day from 9 am to 7 pm, with 1100 musicians and 1200 dancers from all the districts of Telangana participating.


Last year, Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanthi was organised for the first time with musicians and artistes and received a great response. This time, preparations are being made to organise the 393rd Ramadasu Jayanthi Mahotsav in a grand manner by including dance artistes as well.

She said Telangana Sangeeta Nataka Akademi has created a new era by organising many cultural festivals and providing a platform to many artistes. She invited art lovers to participate in the celebrations and said entry is free for the event.
