Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanti celebrations to be held in LB Indoor Stadium on this date

It has been decided to hold the saint poet's jayanti celebrations every year in Telangana on the lines of Thyagaraja worship festivities in Tamil Nadu, announced Dr Alekhya Punjala

Hyderabad: Telangana Sangeeta Nataka Akademi will be organising the 392nd Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanti celebrations at LB Indoor Stadium, on March 2.

Dr Alekhya Punjala, chairperson, Telangana Sangeeta Nataka Akademi, on Friday, released the celebrations brochure, and announced the Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanti celebrations will be held every year in Telangana on the lines of Thyagaraja worship festivities in Tamil Nadu.

A total of 26 music groups have registered their names from all districts and more than 600 musicians will be participating in the festival, which will be attended by Dr Yella Venkateswara Rao, Dr Sobharaju, Dr Raghavachari, Dr Haripriya, Dr Prema Ramamurthy, Kovela Santha and DV Mohan Krishna, she said.
