Khammam: CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has demanded the State government to withdraw the GO No: 317 issued for allotment of staff to new local cadres. The leaders of Joint Action Committee of Teachers’ Organisation (JACTO) and Upadhyaya Sanghala Porata Committee (USPC) met the Congress leader here on Saturday and submitted a memorandum explaining possible harm the GO causes to the employees.

Responding to their appeal Vikramarka said the GO was detrimental to the interests of government employees as it affects the local cadre status of the employees. He feared that there would be no job notifications because of the government order. Measures should be taken to ensure that couples in government service would serve in the same district. Separate seniority lists have to be prepared for those working in agency areas and the plains, he demanded.

He suggested seniority status has to be continued as per roster system to see that BC employees selected through different DSCs would not suffer loss. The process of allotment of staff to local cadres has to be carried out in a planned manner instead of a hurried manner. STF state general secretary Devarakonda Saidulu, UTF district president Naga Mallishwar Rao, TPTF leader Nagi Reddy, STU leader S Bhoja Raju, TTF state president M Rama Rao and others were present.
