Bhavan’s beat Loyola 29-27 to lift OU basketball championship

Hyderabad: Bhavan’s Vivekananda, Sainikpuri, won the Osmania University inter-college basketball championship, defeating Loyola Academy 29-27 in the final.
Srinivas and Lokesh played well for the winners, while Anthony and Ashish impressed for Loyola Academy.
Mathrusri Engineering College defeated St Joseph Degree College 31-25 to finish third. Bilal and Nikhil played well for the winners, while Sai Jaswanth and Sriniketh put up a good show for the losing side.
Rev Fr Dr N B Babu SJ, Principal of Loyola Academy, and Senior Professor Rajesh Kumar, Head of the Department of Physical Education at Osmania University, gave away the prizes.
