BHEL secures order from NALCO
Valued at around Rs 450 crore, the order has been placed on BHEL by NALCO for its 5th Stream Alumina Refinery Expansion Project at Damanjodi, Odisha.

New Delhi: State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured order for a steam and power plant from National Aluminium Corporation Limited (NALCO).
Valued at around Rs 450 crore, the order has been placed on BHEL by NALCO for its 5th Stream Alumina Refinery Expansion Project at Damanjodi, Odisha.
BHEL’s scope in the contract includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 1×300 TPH Coal Fired Boiler, 18.5 MW Steam Turbine Generator and associated auxiliaries, including FGD and SCR. BHEL is India’s largest manufacturer of power generation equipment with an installed base of over 1,90,000 MW of power plant equipment globally.
