Hyderabad: Prem Kumar, the lone survivor of the fire mishap, had escaped the fire with injuries, but the trauma for him was far from over.
Being treated at the Gandhi Hospital after suffering burns and fractures to his body while escaping from the fire, he was the only one whose help could be sought by the police initially to identify the charred bodies of his co-workers.
Prem was brought on a wheel chair in an ambulance to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for the identification of the 11 victims, as he was the last one to see them.
Sources said Prem helped the police in identifying most of the victims and shared their particulars with the police officials.
