Hyderabad: A team of Bhopal police is in the city to serve a notice to Mohammed Imran alias ‘Caller Imran’ for allegedly harassing and threatening Member of Parliament Pragya Thakur a few days ago.
The team accompanied by the Hyderabad police visited his house at Kalapather on Friday to serve the notice.
“Despite repeated attempts, the notice could not be served by the Bhopal police. He refused to come out of the house, so the team left the place,” Kalapather Inspector S Sudharshan said.
Imran allegedly made a few phone calls to the MP and questioned about her comments recently with regard to the ‘hijab’ controversy.
Previously cases were booked against Imran for making phone calls to public representatives and making audio clips of conversations viral on social media.
