Senior actor Bhumika Chawla is a happy person as she is elated to be back on film sets in Hyderabad for the forthcoming untitled movie. She joined the cast of actors Sumanth Ashwin, Srikanth and Tanya Hope who are playing the lead characters in the movie which is being directed by Guru Pawan.

The upcoming film’s story revolves around four characters with the backdrop of a road journey as its central theme. Bhumika has been chosen to play a key role with a lot of scope for some good performance. As the shooting re-started recently, Bhumika has joined the rest of the cast for the schedule in Hyderabad which is taking place amid all safety precautions keeping Covid-19 protocols in mind.

“After many months, I am happy to be on the film sets. We are all excited about resuming the shoot here in Hyderabad with all safety norms — wearing masks, social distancing and sanitisation in place,” said Bhumika.

Speaking on the occasion, Srikanth expressed happiness for being back on the sets for the film. “Like all sectors and industrial units took a beating due to the pandemic, film industry too has taken the brunt of the lockdown. Even though theatres are not functioning, we should thankfull for the resumption of film shootings. The movie is going to be a different one,” he added.

Tanya Hope said she is happy to be back on the sets after a long period of uncertainty. “This is the first film shooting I am being involved post lockdown. I am very excited about sharing screen space with Srikanth sir and Ashwin. The story is based on four characters who embarked on a road trip. Director Guru has given his best to bring the desired output,” she said.

The movie is being produced by G Mahesh under the banner Gurappa Parameshwara Productions. Prior to the lockdown, 50% of the film has been shot as part of the Ladakh schedule. The current schedule focuses on some important scenes between the lead actors.
