Bihari worker injured as trench collapses during Mission Bhagiratha works
A Bihari labourer was injured while laying a Mission Bhagiratha pipeline at St. Mary’s High School in Kothagudem when soil collapsed on him inside a trench. His condition is reported to be stable.

Kothagudem: A Bihari worker was injured when soil fell on him while he was laying a Mission Bhagiratha pipeline inside a trench at St. Mary’s High School in Kothagudem.
The co-workers noticed the worker Santhosh buried under the soil and rushed to his rescue by removing the debris. The one-town Inspector of Police Karunakar also rushed to the spot and shifted the injured worker to the Government General Hospital (GGH) for treatment. His condition was said to be stable.
Woman, daughter die in road accident in Karimnagar
Meanwhile in Karimnagar, a woman and her three-year-old daughter died after being run over by a tractor while purchasing fruits at Devakkapalli stage of Bejjenki mandal on Saturday.
According to locals, a family from Bommakal was travelling towards their village from Injapalli on a two-wheeler. They halted at the roadside to buy custard apples when a tractor, after colliding with a DCM van, ran over them. Veena Rani (30) and her daughter Manasvini (3) died on the spot. Her husband and another daughter suffered serious injuries. Their condition is said to be in a critical state.
On learning of the incident, police rushed to the spot, registered a case and launched an investigation.
