HYDERABAD: Hyderabad’s Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty continued to play the lead role as India entered the play-offs for the second time after a 2-1 win against Korea in Billie Jean King Cup Asia Oceania group matches held at Balewadi Tennis Stadium in Pune on Saturday.

Shrivalli shocked and fancied Soyun Park 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (5) in the first singles, and then another Hyderabadi Yamalapalli Sahaja lost to D Back 3-6, 4-6 in the second singles.


However, Ankita Raina and Prarthana Thombare combined well to down Dabin Kim and Soyun Park 6-4, 6-3 to clinch the issue for the hosts.
