BIMTECH partners with Hexalog to launch Centre of Excellence in supply chain & logistics

BIMTECH and Hexalog Technologies have signed a three-year MoU to establish a Centre of Excellence in Supply Chain & Logistics, offering micro-credentials, certificate programmes, internships, live projects, and entrepreneurship bootcamps to strengthen industry–academia collaboration.

Hyderabad: Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) signed a three-year strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hexalog Technologies Private Limited to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Supply Chain & Logistics (SCL).

The centre is expected to introduce industry-aligned micro-credentials and certificate programmes in areas such as AI in logistics, supply chain analytics, and digital freight management, a press release said.

The partnership will result in real-world industry engagements for students through on-the-job training, internships, live consulting assignments, and opportunities to pitch ideas to real investors. Additionally, the collaboration will also facilitate structured entrepreneurship bootcamps under the mentorship of industry practitioners, it said.

Strengthening industry–academia collaboration, both institutions will also engage in activities such as supply chain fest, joint research, hackathons, case development, and curation of executive education programmes, it added.
