Hyderabad: In a significant move to promote women’s health and empowerment, the Soch India Foundation, a prominent NGO, has announced the launch of the “Bindass Women Run.” Scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2026, the marathon aims to serve as a platform for spreading awareness about women’s welfare and physical well-being.

The run is exclusively for women and will commence at 6.30 am from Sanjeevaiah Park, proceeding along the scenic Necklace Road stretch to conclude at Jalavihar Park. The organisers have emphasised that the event is more than just a race. It is a movement to encourage women to prioritise their health and social rights.

The initiative is being spearheaded by the team at Soch India Foundation, led by organisers Deepanjali Thakur, Priyanka Upadhyay, and Archana Choudhary. The trio has been instrumental in coordinating logistics and ensuring that the message of women’s welfare reaches every corner of the city.

The event will be graced by leaders who have long supported community development. Talasani Srinivas Yadav, MLA, will be the chief guest for the felicitation ceremony, along with Seshu Kumari, former Ameerpet Corporator, to cheer on the participants and acknowledge their spirit.

To ensure the safety of all participants, the organising committee has stated that wearing shoes is compulsory for the run. Women interested in participating in this city-wide initiative can register through the official link.

The Soch India Foundation has invited women from all walks of life to lace up their shoes and join the stride towards a healthier and more empowered future.
