Hyderabad: Pradyumn Kumar Sahoo, professor at Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, has been elected as a Council Member of the Indian Mathematical Society (IMS) for a term of three years, from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2028.

Prof Sahoo was elected for the position for his outstanding contributions to the field of mathematics and unwavering commitment to advancing academic excellence.
