Hyderabad: BITS Pilani has announced its partnership with the USC Viterbi School of Engineering aimed at strengthening academic ties and foster innovation through joint research, educational initiatives, and student and faculty exchanges.
The partnership will address emerging challenges in science, technology, and engineering, creating impactful opportunities for students, researchers, and faculty with emphasis on artificial intelligence, data analytics, quantum computing and sustainable engineering.
This collaboration includes initiatives like a combined Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Master of Science (MS) program. BITS Pilani students, after completing three years of their BE degree, will be eligible for early admission to the MS program at the University of Southern California (USC).
BITS Pilani Vice Chancellor Prof. Ramgopal Rao said the partnership represents a significant step forward in the Institute’s mission to provide global opportunities for our students and faculty.
