Hyderabad: Trouble is brewing in the Gunfoundry division of the Bharatiya Janata Party with supporters of division president Shailender Yadav on Sunday trying to attack Om Prakash, who is the party’s official candidate for the December 1 GHMC polls.

Yadav’s supporters also raised slogans against Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy and the party’s former State president Dr. K. Laxman at the BJP party office, accusing them of being ‘unfair’ towards party workers. They also questioned the party high command for allotting the Gunfoundry seat to Om Prakash, who had shifted from the Telugu Desam Party to the BJP.

Yadav, addressing his supporters, alleged that Kishan Reddy and Laxman were taking revenge on the BJP’s Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh.
