Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao likened the BJP leaders for misusing the social media to that of practising black-magic, to divide the society and propagate half-truths as well as utter lies for its electoral politics. He ridiculed the BJP leaders for being shameless and taking credit for others’ achievements. The Chief Minister said that the Statue of Equality of Sri Ramanujacharya was installed by Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy near his Ashram in Muchintal on the Hyderabad outskirts, with a novel intention of spreading universal brotherhood and equality. He stated that though the project was developed with the money raised by the followers of the pontiff, the “shameless” BJP leaders were crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the feat. “For political mileage during elections in North India, the BJP leaders are publicising on the social media that the Prime Minister installed the State of Equality in the backyard of AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi. They also used the photographs of a flyover constructed in Hyderabad and projected it as a flyover constructed in Uttar Pradesh. What should we call it if not intellectual bankruptcy and shamelessness,” he questioned.
