Hyderbad: BJP Legislative Party leader A Maheshwar Reddy demanded the State government to release white paper on crop loan waiver implementation and the list of beneficiaries.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Maheshwar Reddy said the State government was issuing contradictory statements on crop loan waiver and confusing the farmers. While Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was claiming that his government had released the crop loan waiver amounts to all the farmers, Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageshwar Rao was giving statements that over Rs. 13,000 crore still had to be released, he said.

“Who is lying? Is the CM misleading the farmers? or the Agriculture Minister is unaware of the facts. The State government should release a white paper on the issue and clear the doubts of the farmers,”he said.

Coming down heavily on the Congress government, the BJPLP leader alleged that the government was showing more interest in demolishing the houses of the people than implementing the Six Guarantees promised to the people of the State.
