Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed at the BJP State office in Nampally when party workers attempted to take out a rally on Tuesday to condemn the sit-in protest staged by Congress Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in front of the Prime Minister’s Office in Delhi.
BJP State leaders tried to march towards Gandhi Bhavan to stage a protest. However, police personnel, who had barricaded the road leading to the Congress party office, stopped the rally and took several BJP leaders into custody. They were later shifted to a nearby police station.
