Mancherial: BJP leaders and activists urged Collector Kumar Deepak to take steps to set up a vegetable market and traffic island near the road-over-bridge across the railway crossing on the College Road in Mancherial town.
BJP State executive member Mulkala Malla Reddy said vegetable vendors from rural parts were hogging a road, causing inconvenience to motorists and traffic snarls.
Asking for an alternative vegetable market for the convenience of vendors and the public, he also said a traffic island at the flyover would address traffic congestion.
