BJP MLA Raja Singh taken into preventive custody in Yadadri Bhongir
The legislator from Goshamahal constituency was going to Warangal as part of a protest against alleged provocative remarks made by Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy on the Ram temple being constructed at Ayodhya.
Hyderabad: BJP MLA T. Raja Singh was taken into preventive custody at Bibinagar in Yadadri-Bhongir district here on Monday.
The legislator from Goshamahal constituency was going to Warangal as part of a protest against alleged provocative remarks made by Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy on the Ram temple being constructed at Ayodhya.
Raja Singh was stopped at Bibinagar and shifted to the Pochampally police station.
Following this, mild tension prevailed at the police station when several supporters and BJP activists staged a protest demanding the release of the MLA.
